we're sown together
she’s born to mesmerise
beside, astride her
I die inside her
it's far too sacred
don’t ever fake it
and don’t and don’t and don’t let me down
Cheap(er) Glamour
The ideals may be cheapened, but the outcome is still the same.

Stacks, they make me tall(er)
Today I found my knee high Demonia Stacks 301.
They aren't how I remember them. They are taller & strange to walk in.
All I have to do now, is find a way to make them tighter around my calves.
I only know two ways, either take them to a shoe repairman or tie them up with lace or something.
That is what they look like.
They are seven inch platforms.
I am not going to be able to way through doorways without ducking down.
So now I have the bottom half of what i want to wear to Club Kidz all I have to sort out now, is the top half.
& then there is makeup & hair to think of.
I really left it too late to actually do anything amazing with my costume, but there will be another chance.
Very undecided about my idea of making a collar, I have less than a week to get everything & make it. I have no idea what to do. So really because of work, I have 1 day to go get everything I will need to make it & then a couple of nights to make it in.

Tiara, like a true princess
How could I forget, I also need to find or make myself a tiara, I am hoping I can use an already made one & add to it.
I have looked for designs online & found that they are rather simple to make but I would prefer to use a plastic one, & then add stuff to the front of it, seems a lot easier than hand making one from scratch.

Feather collars, messy business
I start a new prokect this week, one that I have a real deadline for.
I have till the 17th of July to make myself a bangin' pink feather collar for club kids.
Also need to find & fit a zip to my platform boots or I am in serious trouble.
I am going to need to plan this properly so it doesn't all fall apart on me while I am wearing it.
Mine will not look like this, hopefully better.
Feathers top & bottom, longer at the front on the bottom & even longer on the top at the back.
I think I am going to be doing a lot of on the go alterations to it to get it just perfect, it will be interesting to say the least.
I want to drag the front of it down so I can avoid having to wear at top but still have a littler bit covering me.
I will be making a second one soon as I finish the first but it will be a lot more extravagant than the first, as I will have some sort of idea of what I am doing.
Drawing plenty of ideas down, that I have included one that I really like the shape of, I will change it to suit the look but the general idea is there.
Probably won't be as thickly filled in as that but you get the idea of it.
I am also considering making it do up at the front as opposed as the back, that way I can make the back ridge to support more/bigger feathers. Just not sure how exactly I will achieve that. Also planning, if possible to put wire inside the feathers to make them more ridged & stand up better.

The waiting games sucks....
Ah the waiting game sucks, I want all my stuffs now!
I dont want to have to wait till the end of the week before I get clothes from the otherside of the country, seems silly that it takes that long.
I want it all now *arms flail everywhere*

In the beginning there was a boy with a sewing machine
Apparently looking good costs a lot of money these days. To that I say BULLSHIT!
It all comes down to where you get your clothes.
Personally my favourite place on Earth is, the OP shop. If you don't know what one of those is, LEARN!
There is also eBay, a great place to get vintage & antique, well anything really.
They will save you loads of hard earned money, & with a little creativity & know how, you can breathe new life into the pre-loved clothing you can find there.
Knowing how to use a sewing machine is a great skill to have, I suggest you learn, the hardest part of using a sewing machine is setting it up, but once learnt you will be able to do it in no time. Hand stitching is fine, but time consuming.
Turning pre-loved clothing into something new is not only cheaper, it also means you have the only one, no one else will have the same item of clothing as you again.
Buying a oversized t-shirt & turning it into a dress is a lot cheaper than buying one.
& you're not limited to clothes, there jewellery too, that you can use practically anything to make, from bones to toy cars.
The only limitation really is your imagination.
Here I will post all the alterations and re-creations that I make, including where I got it & how I did it.
I am certainly no wizard on a sewing machine, but not only do I get to make new things, I also learn to be more patient with everything, it's win-win.
I already have bought a few items off eBay that I eagerly await the arrival of so I can begin transforming them into something better than just a plain t-shirt.
TTFN
Looking forward to posting all my creations in the very near future
P.S I will also be posting links to sites that have tutorials & videos.
